Why the Norooz Clinic Foundation (NCF)?

Tell your personal story about how your mental health has impacted your life. How did
you cope with it or overcame it?

Growing up with a mother who had narcissistic personality disorder, I faced significant verbal, physical, and emotional abuse. This challenging environment pushed me to develop healthy coping mechanisms at an early age. In the face of my mother’s vicious treatment, I learned to draw strength from within, constantly reminding myself that I loved myself and I was good.

These internal affirmations became a cornerstone of my resilience. This personal journey not only helped me survive but also fueled my desire to help others who are hurting. Today, as a therapist, I encourage my clients to find love and strength within themselves, sharing the techniques that helped me overcome my struggles. My childhood experiences inspired my passion for connecting with others and aiding in their healing and progress.
