4. Anxiety and Depression with Mindfulness

Our Anxiety and Depression with Mindfulness Peer Support Group offers a welcoming space for individuals dealing with anxiety and depression to connect, share their journeys, and find comfort and understanding through mutual support, helping one another on the path to improved mental well-being. Mindfulness group therapy is a form of psychotherapy that combines the pricicples of mindfulness with thte support and interaction of a therapy group. The goal of this approach is to help individuals develop greater self-awareness & acceptance, manage stress & emotional regulation, improve overall well-being, and being present in the here-and-now. This includes meditation, breathe work, mind & body practices and interventions, positive & strength-based psychology, and more that allows one to be more in tune with and accepting of themselves.

Our Schizophrenia Peer Support Group offers a safe and understanding environment for individuals living with schizophrenia to share their experiences, gain valuable insights, and provide mutual support as they navigate the challenges of this condition, fostering a sense of community and hope.

An Anger Management Support Group is a structured environment led by trained professionals, providing individuals with a safe space to share experiences and receive guidance on managing anger. Participants work on enhancing self-awareness, developing coping strategies, improving communication, fostering empathy, and learning conflict resolution. Through therapeutic approaches like cognitive-behavioral techniques, the group dynamic encourages peer support and accountability, creating a community for individuals to collaboratively address and overcome anger issues.
