Nina Huynh
Executive Director, Youth Program

Nina Huynh is the Executive Director of the Youth Program at Norooz Clinic Foundation (NCF). She has her B.A. in Psychology and Anthropology from the California State University of Fullerton. She also has an extensive research background in mental health with topics such as relationships, addiction, depression, and more. Nina is bilingual, having been born in Vietnam and immigrating to the United States at a young age, she is fluent in both English and Vietnamese, often utilizing this to advocate for mental health in the Vietnamese community. Her main mission is to reduce mental health stigmas in the community and to normalize it as much as possible in all families.

Nina started at the NCF back in October of 2012 when it was first established. From then on, she grew with the organization, seeing its transition from a private practice to a community non-profit mental health clinic. She is also the Event Coordinator for the NCF’s Cultural Art & Psychology Fair (CAPFair) for which she has helped secure county grants for it. She works extensively alongside the Orange County Health Care Agency to organize these CAPFair events on a grand scale. Nina is the Founder and Executive Director of the Youth Expression Projekt, a youth support group dedicated to open communication and breaking mental health stigmas. She has worked with these youth to create a more safe and comfortable environment for them to express themselves. She is also the Executive Director for the Youth Program at TherapyCable, NCF’s sister company, an online educational therapy video hub and the Founder/Co-host at HikeTalk, a youth show on TherapyCable, dedicated to tackling taboo topics and educating the youth population on topics that matter.
